Not really sure on the full story here but it looked like the police did not like what the photographer was doing, not really sure why he was attacked though. You can view the full raw footage here to see a little more of what happened.

Vancouver Police Chase
A truck stolen by a man made for an exciting car truck chase that wrecked numerous police cars and ended in an interesting way. The suspect was taken to hospital for a psychiatric assessment.
Street Photography with Bruce Gilden
Never really do street photography and a lot of street photos I see don’t normally do much for me but this is an interesting video to watch.
Camping: China Beach Day 2 & 3
On the morning of the second day I woke up early to another beautiful sunny day. Today I decided to hike out to Sombrio beach. On the way out to the trail head I was very lucky to see a black bear. I was able to get within 20 feet and get some decent pictures, was really hoping to see a bear so I was really happy about this find. After finally finding a place where to park but I was greeted with and amazing beach. Sombrio is know as a great surf beach but I did not get any surf pictures unfortunately. After Sombrio I took another trip to China beach and then after dinner decided to hike down to Mystic beach to catch the sunset there. I left on the 3rd day and did not take a huge amount of photos so thats why they are combined.

Camping: China Beach Day 1
This weekend was the first camping trip of the season! The weather was amazing (I even got a sun burn!) compared to last Victoria day… I spent a few days at China beach on the west coast of Vancouver Island. I took a lot of pictures so I will break the posts up into days I think or something along those lines. The first day I was able to catch the sunsetting after leaving right from work which was beautiful.
You can’t go to the west coast without surfers, I would love to try this sometime soon.
