Day 3 I had reached my destination of Peachland and walked around near where I was staying to see what I could find. The only real pictures that turned out where pictures of flowers. The light very harsh and there was a lot of haze which made landscapes near impossible.
I was planning on going camping this weekend but when I got up it was raining so I decided against it. Hopefully next weekend I will be able to go camping. As soon as I decided it would be to late to go it sopped raining and brightened up a bit. It was perfect weather for some macro work so I took more pictures of flowers.
I have been busy and the weather has been great so I have been out a lot for some walks around the house I am looking after for a few weeks. I have not been doing as many landscape photos and have been doing more macro and nature work.
Well it looks like spring is starting to arrive. The trees are starting to get there leaves and flowers are starting to come out. There have even been a few sunny days. This spring I am hoping I will be able to get some pictures of the wild flowers. Last year I missed them due to finishing off school. Lets hope the timing works out better this year and I can find a location with some nice flowers. I am also hoping to try more “studio” style pictures of some of the flowers which I was inspired by Paul Omernik and his orchid pictures.
