Last weekend I spent an evening watching the sun set at Esquimalt Lagoon. The sunset was nothing special but I did spend a good amount of time watching one of the many Great Blue Herons fishing for it’s dinner.

Great Blue Herons
Around Victoria you seem to see a lot of great blue herons around at various locations. I find it quite amazing that these birds always have such slight differences that can make them so unique.
