Looking back: Gumball 3000 in London

Well these pictures are from my trip to England earlier in the year and I have finally just gotten around to looking at them. These are from the start of the Gumball 3000 rally that was stopped this year due to an accident in which an elderly couple was killed a few days after the start of the race. It was really cool to see (and touch) some of these amazing cars.

A weekend in Vancouver

Spent the weekend over in Vancouver visiting family before the holiday season. I was able to get a few pictures. I first spent a few hours at the Lynn Canyon and then went down to the Lonsdale quay and Lonsdale pier. Now for a few pictures from Lynn Canyon.

And a few from down on Lonsdale.

Back home

Well I am back home after being in Montreal for two weeks, I had a great time. Just want to thank everyone who made is possible. I was able to take just over 1000 photos so I have a bunch of them I have to go though. Look for them on my website and over on my Flickr.

Signs of fun

Montreal has terrible signage, unless it comes time to tell you what you are not allowed to do. These are all from Lafontaine Park.

If you bring your dog to the park you must buy a $300 hammer.

Saint Lawrence Seaway

Today I went to the Saint Lawrence Seaway and to the St. Catherine locks. The seaway was constructed to allow ships to bypass the rapids on the St. Lawrence river. I was lucky enough to see the locks in action which was kind of nice. There was lots of nice views looking over to downtown Montreal and of course lots of fall colours. Along with the fall colours I was able to see some wildlife.
