I did a few day trips while I was in Wales, as well as some longer walks. One of these day trips was to were the family I was staying at goes on there summer vacation. It is near the Snow den mountains and was up in the hills. They rented a cottage on a lake that was very quiet but in the summer apparently gets busy. The cottage they used was a very nice stone building and on the same land they had a nice guest house which had just been repaired from a fire.
The surrounding country side was a real mix of lake country, re-planted pine forests, and

rush.
