Favourites of 2019

Another year is coming to an end and time to reflect on the past year. I had some great hiking trips this year which got me to some spectacular locations but outside of those did not have as many opportunities to get out shooting as in the past. None the less it is always nice to be able to look back remember the sights, adventures and memories from the past year. Here are a few of my favourite images from 2019.

Looking out over a snow covered Strathcona Provincial park
A calm spring sunset on Hornby Island
Enjoying an early spring sunset on Hornby Island
Hiking along the rugged tip of Vancouver Island towards the northern most tip, Cape Sutil
Watching the rising tide along a remote beach on Northern Vancouver Island
Twilight over Irony Creek on the remote north coast of Vancouver Island
Looking at the base of Della falls, arguably the tallest waterfall in Canada at 440m tall
The stunning Love lake, a beautiful lake in the alpine of Strathcona Provincial park
Looking up the beautiful Margaret Creek on the trail to Della falls
A picturesque scene on the slopes of Crest mountain

I am hoping that 2020 will bring similar adventures and even more opportunities to explore both locally and abroad.

  1. I completely agree with you, Bryn, even if we don’t get out as often it’s still nice looking back, remembering the pleasant times we did get out. And you’ve created some great photographs to help with those memories. I especially like the composition of the hiker along the beach with the curving shoreline. Have a great 2020!
